About two hours of your time in month one

Four steps, and none of them are homework for you.

You already have a job. Ours is to take the marketing off your list without needing a weekly meeting to do it. Here’s our exact marketing agency process, from the first phone call onwards, and where you come in.

Month to month. Everything we build stays in your name.

Local marketing consultant reviewing a Google Business Profile with a shop owner

Who does what

The short version, before the detail below.

01 — We get to know you

A proper conversation, not a sales pitch

Forty-five minutes on the phone or across a table. We want the real picture: your busy season, your best customers, the jobs you’d rather not take, and the marketing tasks you keep pushing to next week.

By the end of it you’ll know whether we can help. If the answer’s no, we say so on that call rather than sending a proposal anyway.

What we'll ask about

Where your work comes from today
Which months are quiet and which are chaos
The jobs you'd take ten more of
Who you keep losing work to locally
What you've already tried and how it went
How many more jobs a month you could actually take
Before the call, we look at
Your Google Business Profile, as a customer sees it
Your site on a phone, timed on 4G
Your reviews next to the three nearest competitors
Where you rank for the searches that matter locally

Free, and yours to keep whether you hire us or not.

02 — We build the plan

One page, one price, in plain English

A few days after the call you get a single page: what we’d start with, why that first, what it costs, and what you should expect to see in the first ninety days.

No bundles full of things you’ll never use. If your website is fine but your Google listing is a mess, we start with Google and say so — even though the rebuild would have paid us more.

What's on that page

First

The one thing costing you most

Named plainly, with what we saw that makes us say it.

Then

What we'd add later

And roughly when it starts paying for itself. Not sold to you now.

Cost

One monthly number

In writing, before anything starts. No setup surprises later.

Expect

What you'll see, and when

Honest timelines. Nobody here will promise page one by Friday.

03 — We do the work

Our team does the heavy lifting

Writing, designing, posting, building, following up. You look things over and give us a yes or a no. We handle the rest.

The one thing we can’t do without you is photos. Text them to a single number as you go — no shoot to schedule, no folder to organise.

The first month, week by week

Week 1
Access and housekeeping
Logins handed over, everything checked into your name, Google profile cleaned up. Your one job: forty-five minutes of admin with us.
Week 2
First things go live
Review requests start going out after jobs, and the first posts publish. You'll see movement here before anything else.
Week 3
The bigger build
Website pages, service pages and tracking, depending on your plan. We show you drafts before anything is published.
Week 4
Next month approved in twenty minutes
One link, a month of posts, a yes or a change. From here on, that's the whole routine.

04 — We report and adjust

One page a month, about calls and jobs

Not a forty-page dashboard nobody reads. A short note in plain English: what worked, what didn’t, what we’re changing next month.

And it’s a conversation, not a broadcast. Tell us you’re booked out for six weeks and we’ll ease off the lead generation and put the effort somewhere useful.

The first 90 days

What you should actually expect to see.

Some of this moves in weeks. Some of it takes months, and anyone telling you otherwise is guessing.

Weeks 1–4

Groundwork and first signs

Reviews start arriving, posts go out consistently, and your Google listing looks like a business that’s open. Small but visible.

Weeks 5–8

Search starts to move

New pages get indexed, rankings climb for the searches worth having, and the first calls arrive that mention finding you on Google.

Weeks 9–12

A pattern you can plan around

Enough months of numbers to see what’s working, and enough steady enquiries that you stop wondering where next month’s work is coming from.

Common questions

About getting started

If yours isn’t here, ring us and ask. We’d rather answer it now than after you’ve signed something.

How much of my time does the first month take?
About two hours in total, in a few short conversations. After that it's roughly twenty minutes a month.
Do I have to approve everything?
Only if you want to. Most owners approve the first month closely, then hand us the reins and just read the monthly note.
What do you need from me each month?
Photos from the job, and a heads up when you're full or running a promotion. That's genuinely it.
Can we start small and add later?
Yes, and most people do. We'll suggest the next piece when it's going to pay for itself, and not before.
What if it isn't working?
We'll say so before you have to ask, and change the plan. And if it's still not working, month to month means you can walk with everything intact.
