Web design & development

Small business web design built for the phone in the parking lot.

That’s where most people check you out: on a phone, one-handed, deciding whether to call. Everything we build is designed for that moment first and the desktop version second.

Built on WordPress, with the domain and hosting in your name, wherever in the country your business is.

The problem it fixes

Visitors land on your site and leave without calling.

Most local sites don’t lose people to a competitor’s better design. They lose them to an eight-second load time, a phone number nobody can tap, or a homepage that never actually says what you do. None of that takes a redesign to fix, it takes someone who knows exactly where to look.

What changes

What we usually find, and what you get instead

What we usually find

  • Eight seconds to load on 4G
  • Phone number buried in a footer, not tappable
  • A homepage that says “Welcome to our website”
  • One page for six services, so Google ranks none of them
  • A contact form nobody’s checked since 2022

What you get instead

  • Under two seconds, tested on a real phone
  • Tap-to-call in the header and a sticky bar on mobile
  • A headline that says what you do and where
  • A page per service, each written to rank on its own
  • Forms and calls tracked, so you know what brought them in

Why this, specifically

Your site’s only job is to not lose the call

A slow, cluttered site doesn’t just look dated, it actively costs you jobs. Someone searching on their phone gives a page a few seconds to prove it’s worth staying on. If it’s not obvious what you do and how to reach you in that window, they’re already back on Google looking at whoever’s next.

A fast site is step one. Pair it with local SEO to actually get found.

How we do it

From what you’ve got now to a site that works

  1. Step 1: We check what’s actually there

Your current site’s speed, structure and mobile experience, tested on a real phone, not just a desktop preview.

  2. Step 2: We plan pages around each service

One page per service, written in the words customers actually search, not a single page trying to cover everything.

  3. Step 3: We build it on WordPress

Fast, mobile-first, tap-to-call built in. Nothing exotic or locked to a platform only we can touch.

  4. Step 4: We track calls and form fills

So you know which pages are actually bringing in work, and we know what to build on next.

Common questions

Before you call

If yours isn’t here, ring us and ask. We’d rather answer it now than after you’ve signed something.

Do I need a full rebuild, or can you fix what I’ve got?
Often it’s a handful of fixes, not a rebuild. We’ll tell you honestly which one you need, not the one that costs more.
How long does a new site take?
Typically three to five weeks depending on how many pages and how much content needs writing. You’ll see drafts before anything goes live.
Will I be able to update it myself afterward?
Yes. It’s built on ordinary WordPress, with nothing locked to a proprietary system only we can edit.
Do you write the words on the page too?
Yes, in your voice, based on what customers actually search rather than industry jargon. You review everything before it’s published.
What happens to my domain and hosting?
Both stay in your name from day one. If you ever leave, you take the whole site with you, intact.
